Lester is on the Steering Committee of Park to Pacific, a community group
re-imagining Clovelly Road as a string of villages on a greener, safer and more sustainable street from Centennial Park to Clovelly Beach. 
 
Lester has also been involved in the Better Block movement (Clovelly Road team leader - trees and landscaping) and attended the launch and is an advocate of the 202020 Vision to increase our urban green space by 20% by 2020.
